its been awhile since i last posted in the fininshed gallery~a fan art piece actually, been working on it on and off for few weeks, its mainly inspired by the movie itself, since i'm a big fan for miyazaki's,so here it is.
This is just simply superb. It looks just like a realistic version of the Princess Mononoke characters! The light on the trees in the BG give it a nice touch to balance it with the darker wood around Princess Mononoke and her wolf. The little tree creatures are adorable! ^____^ Everything about this picture from Princess Monoke, to the wolf, to the spear, to the tree people, to the BG are all starkly and clearly and beautifully detailed and clear and sharp. I'm a huge fan of Princess Mononoke, and this piece of artwork certainly gives it the justice out of any other fan artworks of Mizayaki that I've ever seen. Beautiful, beautiful work.

This is such a great movie, and you've perfectly captured all of the magic in which the movie beholds within it. The wolf's expression is priceless. :3
Hey, great piece! I'm not all too sure about Mononoke's anatomy though... See seems a bit too slim around the waist and there's something about her expression that bugs me. I guess it's that her face isn't as characteristic as I remember from the movie and in your piece it looks a little 'plain'.
Nitpicking aside it's a lovely image. I especially like the contrast that the spear and the Kodamas bring to the scene.
